I am so sorry for the inconveniences.But I am Requesting a refund to the card ending in 7281. I did not authorize or did not order any reading material. I DoNot Read..I just had my money refunded on my card. I need my money. I did not Charge any reading material. I am on a fixed income and could not afford a purchase like 66.40. Please Refund my money back on my card ASAP. Thank You.

Magazine service center, They are scum. My advice to you is report them and demand your hard earned money back. the have taking over $2,000 dollars out of my account, for a lousy subscription to 5 magazines. and *** magazines at that. I was tricked into buying a couple of magazines for $19.95 a month. I figured I could handle that. But then they called me and said they would take off 20% of my total amount due if I paid today. I was like ok what is the balance due? I was floored when the lady said I owed a little over a $1,000 dollars? I was ashamed lost and taking back.. I freaked. they then told me that I could not cancel, because they have already paid for the magazines and If I did not pay they would turn me into a credit agency . So I paid their ransom, so my credit would not get hit. Then a few month latter I get another call telling me if I paid my bill off I could save 10%. I was like bull malarkey.. I have paid you guys off to get off my back. I was then told that I had only paid off the first installment. now this final installment was due. which turned out to be another $1,034 bucks. Really for 5 subscriptions to magazines.. I was like WTF? so the threat of these *** reporting me to a credit agency.. I agreed to pay them $295.95 bucks for the next 4 months. I was and still am pissed. So I called them and asked that they send me a invoice showing that I was all paid up, and they assured me that I was. then I looked at my bank statement at the end of the month. and the lying cheating SOB's charged my account another. $19.95.. B.S. I am turning you guys in to the better business burro. I want my money returned, in full of I am going head to the court house and file a small claims lawsuit on you buts faster than you can sneeze snot out of your noise. I want my money returned, NOW! My brother, Brian Jensen, was solicited to subscribe to Magazine Services. He is a vulnerable adult, 81 years old, with his short-term memory damaged by an aneurysm he suffered in 1987. He currently lives in a retirement facility, under assisted living. I, Robert Jensen, possess the power of attorney over his financial affairs. His checking account, at the Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU), was charged $182.99 on August 16, and $29.99 on July and August 12. I have attempted to cancel this subscription. I have called two numbers: one of which was listed on the bank transaction, the other on the Internet. Both calls were in vain. I was put on hold, or the phone went dead on all these calls. I then wrote the email address given for Magazine Services on the Internet. My email was returned as undeliverable. I have sent a copy of my email to the Consumer Protection Division of the Washington State Attorney General's Office. I have also contacted the WSECU to seek redress. I pray whoever is in control of this organization will respond to this complaint. Please do not ever again solicit his business. Sincerely, Robert Jensen

Unimpressed but they didn't get me

I signed up for a 2 month risk free trial for 3 magazines through a book store. I read the fine print and knew that I would need to cancel to avoid being charged.

I also received a post card in the mail that warned me about this and gave me instructions to cancel. I received 4 issues from People, 2 or 3 from Entertainment, and 0 from Food Network. I called into cancel in the specified week (which was about halfway through the trial period) I feel like they only allow a specific 5 day cancellation window a month after you signed up because they know that a lot of people will forget to cancel if they have to wait that long. The automated response system when you call in to cancel is horrid, that lady can't understand anything.

After 4 failed attempts to communicate she finally transfers you to a human. Also, I told the human rep that I never recieved any food network magazines. She quickly responded that it was scheduled to arrive today. The mail had already came today and it was not in there.

She said she would report this and I would hear from someone in five business days. I think I can count on pigs to fly before I ever get a phone call. Aside from that, I feel like they don't bother improving the system because they hope people will give up on the cancellation process. I'm 20 and this isn't my first rodeo with free trials and *** automated services.

But for an older, vulnerable, not so tech savvy adult, this could mean losing $100 every six months. I do not support practices such as these and hate to see the reviews on here about older ones who have been scammed out of their money.

Fraud

money is being taken from by account without permission for magazines that I didn't order. I called the phone number listed for your company and was told it was only for rewards and not the magazines. Does anyone own up to their actions?

I had 3 months in a row with charges of $100 and a little over. I talked to customer service and they claimed they were sending me a check to reimburse me for 2 of them charges. Still haven't got anything after a long time.

Unauthorized Credit Card charges

My Credit Card has been automatically charged for magazines I have never ordered. I do not use my credit card for magazine subscriptions. I am NOT subscribed to any magazines at this time. I have had the charges removed twice now from my credit card, which means I have to wait for a new card each time. I welcome any advice on how to keep this charge from being put on my card ever again. Thanks
